TWO ALLEGED MAFIA MEMBERS GRANTED BAIL
Two accused Montreal mafia members arrested during Operation Coliseum were granted bail Friday.
Ronny Barbares paid $25,000 to be relased from prison, and it cost customs agent Marylin Béliveau $10,000.
The judge imposed 3 conditions: to respect an 11 p.m. curfew, to check in with an officer once a week, and to have no contact with the other suspects.
Police carried out Operation Coliseum on Nov. 22, cracking down on 91 suspects, including alleged mafia leaders.
