Prosecutor, 2 centuries of prison to Lo Picolo and clan
Palermo, – A little less of two centuries of prison have been requested by prosecutors Domenico Gozzo, Annamaria Picozzi and Gaetano Paci in the ‘San Lorenzo 5′ trial taking place at the fourth section of the Palermo court headed by Annamaria Fazio.
The highest sentences for the defendants have been proposed for bosses Tommaso Natale Salvatore Lo Piccolo and his son Sandro: 20 years for the father and 18 for the son.
The other requests range from 1 year and 8 months to 16 years.
For Salvatore Lo Piccolo there has also been the request of acquittal for one of the accusations.
The trial is dealing with a series of extortions regarding the areas of San Lorenzo, Tommaso Natale and Sferracavallo (territories controlled by the Lo Piccolo family), as well as more central areas of Palermo.
The two Mafia bosses were arrested on 5 November.
They watched the trial in a videoconference from the from the Milan prison, where they are currently detained.
Unlike during the first hearings, when Lo Piccolo senior had no fresh clothes at disposal, today ‘the Baron’ was seen in an elegant blue dress.
