Forty orders for the arrest for criminal association with the mafia are being carried out by the police of Florence.
Three hotels in Montecatini Terme and ten million euros have been impounded.
Tuscany played a role in the whitewashing of dirty mafia money.
The Formicola family is involved in the affair.
Accusations vary from criminal association with the mafia, illegal money lending, extortion, theft, robbery, blackmail, fraud, whitewashing and drugs trafficking.
