Friedman Wants Special Anti-Mafia Judges
Minister Daniel Friedman revealed Sunday that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has promised him to enable the creation of additional positions for judges whose sole job will be to preside over cases involving organized crime and serious crimes, and for the prosecutors in these cases.
One panel of such judges will hold sessions regarding these cases on a daily basis, in order to finish them as quickly as possible, during the pilot phase of the program.
