Couple who hid Lo Piccolo arrested
Palermo - Three individuals responsible for aiding and abetting Salvatore and Sandro Lo Piccolo, the mafia bosses captured on 5 November, have been arrested by the Palermo flying squad.
Two are spouses who made the Terrasini hideout available to the former fugitive, accused of aggravated aiding and abetting of the mafia, and the third is a man at the head of a mafia association under the boss.
An incident of one person being kidnapped and killed has also come to light, whose body was then dissolved in acid in the hideout.
The arrest warrants were issued by preliminary investigative judge Vicenzina Massa, on the request of associate prosecutor Alfredo Morvillo and state attorneys Domenico Gozzo and Francesco Del Bene.
