Son of mafia Boss of bosses gets sentence reduced on appeal

Palermo – An appeals court in the Sicilian city of Palermo has sentenced Giuseppe Salvatore Riina, youngest son of jailed mafia boss Toto Riina, to eight years and 10 months in prison for mafia association. Rudy Giuliani spent much of his career as U.S. attorney fighting the Mafia. But Giuliani’s own family ties to organized crime were revealed in 2000, when he was ending his second term as mayor.
